Summer Road Trip ♡ Yellowstone | Canada | Quarantine

♡♡ Hi Everybody! Over the summer my little brother Cole came down to visit me in Utah for a couple of weeks, I drove him back home to Canada with a stop at Yellowstone National Park along the way! Upon arriving in Canada we had to Quarantine for 2 weeks before we were let free and I could visit with the rest of my family so I figured I would film a travel vlog for you guys and you could come along my month long adventure with me! ♡♡

𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐀𝐘 - Drive to Yellowstone

Cole & I leave bright and early on our 9 hour drive to Yellowstone. We made a stop in OGDEN, UTAH along the way as the town is named after and has a statue in the honor of PETER SKENE OGDEN, who was a very famous trapper and fur trader. He happens to be our 7th great grandfather! Every first born son in our family, which happens to be Cole, has the middle name OGDEN in his honor. So we were very excited to see the infamous PETER SKENE OGDEN statue.

𝐘𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄 - Exploring the park... BUFFALOS!

Very excited to explore Yellowstone for our very first time! We spend the whole day driving the Grand Loop Road of the park. Venturing to multiple geysers, Old Faithful, Lake Yellowstone, The Grand Canyon Of Yellowstone, ending the day with an incredible heard of Buffalos! Who make very weird sounds LOL..

𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐃𝐀 - Spokane / Border Crossing

We traveled 7 hours to stay the night in Spokane, coming across the cool old silver mining town of Wallace, ID. The next day it's another 7 hour drive to Tappen, B.C, Where we will do our Quarantine! The border patrol was pretty hard on us, we were at the border for hours, they asked us endless questions and tore apart my whole car, unnecessary but I guess they were bored and didn't have much better to do with the borders being mostly closed due to COVID-19 with the exception of citizens.

𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄 - Tappen, B.C!

We begin our 2 week quarantine WAY out in the bush. My mom's boyfriend lives on an extremely rural property so we figured it was the perfect place to quarantine, and it was! I stumbled across this GORGEOUS Tortoise shell cat way out on the property. There is a lot of predator's out there so I brought her in to foster her. I posted her on the Salmon Arm (The closest town to where I was quarantined at) lost and found pet Facebook page, but no one came forward. We also ended up asking around the local campground close to the property but no one came forward. I named her Aurora after the northern lights - We majorly bonded and I decided to bring her back to Utah with me! Very unexpected but a blessing!

𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄 - The Real Fun Begins!

The day has come... FINALLY! I head to Kelowna, B.C for a facial that I had booked with GLO - ANTI AGING YOUTH LAB as well as a few other beauty appointments as I was in the dirt of the bush for 2 weeks and needed some touch ups, LOL. I did a photoshoot with a local Kelowna photographer. Spend some much needed time with my mom, brothers, grandparents and my best childhood friend, Bobbi! We went to the drive in, renting a patio boat for the day on the Shuswap, went tubing down the Shuswap river, I learned how to drive standard, and I took Aurora for a check up at the vet! The week went by WAY to fast.

𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 - Emotional

It was a sad day to leave as I spent my last day waiting at the hospital with our other brother... we found out later on that he was having brain seizers as he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor the year before. The week went by too fast and I feel I didn't get to spend enough time with my family having most of my time spent in Quarantine. This whole trip was last minute and plans kept changing due to COVID -19. I had my GRAND CANYON RIM TO RIM (I filmed a Vlog For You Guys) hiking permit that I booked a year and a half ago for shortly after I got back home so I unfortunately had to leave when I did. Aurora and I it the road back to Utah! I slept in my car and I have to say, she is the best travel buddy! When I get home its time to introduce Aurora and Chester! It took over a month for them to get used to each other but now they are the best of friends!

I hope that you enjoyed joining me along my summer road trip adventure! I really loved filming it for you! THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
