I Hiked The Grand Canyon From Rim To Rim

♡♡ Hi Everybody! I recently fulfilled one of my ultimate bucket list adventures! Hiking the Grand Canyon from 𝐑𝐈𝐌 𝐓𝐎 𝐑𝐈𝐌! Typically if you are starting at the north rim and ascending up the south rim they have a shuttle service that takes you the 5 hour drive back to your car at the north rim. With covid-19 they have discontinued the shuttle service until further notice so we ended up having to take two cars, leave one at the south rim and drive all the way back to the north rim to start the adventure of a life time! I booked a reservation at the historic Phantom Ranch which I won through their lottery system. If you don't know what that is, a lot of these secluded hiking areas require a lottery permit to be won as they have a limit on how many people can stay/hike the area and that is the fairest way to announce a winner! Phantom Ranch has been named one of the most difficult "hotels" to get to and the most hardest to get a reservation for within the USA! I was ecstatic when I found out that I won after many months of failed attempts!

𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐛 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 - I started my adventure on the North Kaibab Trail. It is a STEEP rugged 14.2 miles descending nearly 6000 feet in elevation until my resting spot for the next 2 nights... Phantom Ranch!

𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡 - Phantom Ranch's historic rich cabins sit at the bottom of the Grand Canyon and date back to 1909 where they hosted their first tourism enterprise! I spend the day exploring the ranch and cooled off at "Boat Beach" on the Colorado River!

𝐀𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 - I left bright and early as it was supposed to me 111 F in the canyon and I didn't want to burn too bad! The Bright Angel Trail Ascends 4400 feet up nine and a half miles.

I hope that you enjoyed wandering with me through the Grand Canyon and don't forget to 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 and 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐄 for all future videos!
